Day 6 (part 1)

On Thursday I started my day at 6,55 went to school with my host family. Me and My group from Poland (Ola, Błażej, Maurycy) showed our presentation about culture. We presented it to four different classes. The audience (students) were very interested in what we were saying. They actually asked as lots of questions which we were happy to answer. This was not the first day in which we presented Polish culture (the first was on Monday) that’s why we were not nervous and felt quite confident about our English. Because of this I think everyone enjoyed this experience the American students and us. I really enjoyed talking to the American students and felt that there should have been more time given for this opportunity. After our presentation we had a big lunch and a ceremony which officially opened the international summit. After the ceremony we had a chance to participate in a debate about schooling system in Poland, the USA, France and India. In the evening our group from Poland had a great ride on a water taxi. We had a chance to see beautiful and gigantic houses near the coast. We also managed to see Jonny Depp`s yacht. Me and Ola finished our day by shopping with our host family in Aventura mall. When we got home we were exhausted and went straight to bed. Great experience! Great host families! Thank you for having me.
