The day started as always at 6 o'clock but today we were really nervous. This was the day we had to give our performance as the greatest Polish people. Each of us (except Matthew who played the piano) had prepared short speech about one person. Matylda chose Pola Negri, Juri -Robert Lewandowski, Wiktoria - Maria Skłodowaska Curie, Ola - Nicolaus Copernicus and I chose to perform as Lech Wałęsa. Everyone had also prepered some costumes, for example Juri worn Lewandowski's T-shirt and I had Wałęsa's moustache. When I went on a stage the audience mistook me for Hitler!!! Of course they relized their mistake after the first sentence of my speech. We gave our performances at the gym that could be filled with over 1,500 people and it was full!!! Luckily, we weren't alone. Students from each country had to prepare something too. I really liked Irish performance - girls were singing some traditional Irish songs. Fortunately, after our cultural shows we could spend the rest of the day with our host families. First we (me and Juri) went to the beach where we met Michael and his friends Camila and Nathan. We had a lot fun there! Then we had a swim in the ocean and decided to go to the Game Center for kart driving. It was an amaizing day. Przemyslaw Zarotynski
